Meadow Corner is a beautifully restored former fisherman's cottage tucked away in the heart of St Ives and just a few short steps from Porthmeor Beach.

The Meadow is an enclave of cottages in the desirable 'Downalong' part of St Ives, backing onto the Digey, a cobbled street which is home to some of the best coffee shops and restaurants in town.

The cottage
Much time has gone into ensuring that Meadow Corner is fully equipped with every luxury our guests might need for a romantic or cozy break by the sea. Retaining our original oak beams in the master bedroom offering a beautiful vaulted ceiling and view along The Meadow, luxury toiletries are provided along with beautiful linens and towels. Sit in our perfectly positioned window seat and enjoy watching the world go by, either by the wood burner during winter or sitting on our south facing terrace in the summer months.

The cottage is so close to the beach you can pop back within moments for a quick shower or drink! Porthmeor Beach is the main surf beach in St Ives and the ultimate spot for watching the sun set in the evenings.

The Kitchen

On the lower ground floor, our gorgeously styled kitchen houses an induction hob and oven, a lovely farmhouse table for cozy dinners along with coffee machine and everything you might need to cook at home.

The Living Room

As you enter Meadow Corner, you step into a warm and inviting living room, cosily furnished with log burning stove and sofa and offering a charming view of The Meadow.

Inspired by the colours of the surrounding area, the cottage contains a mix of unfussy antiques and lighting. It’s an ideal spot to unwind with a book or simply enjoy the comforting ambiance created by the crackling fire.

Our en suite bedroom has been carefully restored showcasing the original oak beams creating a beautifully vaulted room with luxury bed linens and furniture. Also featuring an indulgent walk in shower and luxury Bramley products for our guests to enjoy

Extra touches to welcome us too, a bottle of local Cornish sparkling wine, biscuits and milk were a lovely touch. We parked the car for the week and had no need to use it again until we left. The cottage is in an excellent location, steps away from the beach, shops, art galleries and restaurants."
